Ken's family has a beautiful cabin in Montana on Holter lake! It is right on the water with a private dock and a gorgeous view. The cabin itself is HUGE!! When is Grandfather built the cabin he built it with the idea that it was a place for the family to gather together, and let me tell you there is plenty of room! This is the 2nd year we have spent the 4th up there with his family. It is a little weird for me, as I am used to spending it in Eagar with my best friend Alexa and her family! One of the biggest adjustments is not having a BIG fireworks display that the town puts together. At the cabin it is a big show put on by the family! Its more interactive for sure and alot of fun. The dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE the cabin, as they enjoy playing in the water. This was Boomer's first real experience with the water. He was fantastic! Most of the time he would just swim out to swim with you. He spent alot of time in the water! Moe spent last summer up there, so he was just excited to be back! This is the first time I have tried to really capture pictures of fireworks with my SLR camera so it was a really fun learning experience! So here are some pictures of our 4th of July fun!
This first picture I need to explain...This is Ken's cousin Gabe and his son Dane. Dane LOVES dogs, but his dog is Lily a mini-yorkie. She doesn't love Dane so much. Boomer, however, was so excited that someone was lovin on him. This is Dane giving Boomer a kiss!! How cute are they!!
These next pictures are just ones I shot of the fireworks
They were fun pictures to shot!
The next ones are of the boys having fun in the water!
This is the boys fighting over the tennis ball in the water
We finally got Moe to semi jump right off the dock!
My little swimmers!
This is Elmer! He is Krystle's dog, and the guy may be getting up in years but he still moves just fine! He did not participate in the water festivities however! He watched from the dock! I imagine him thinking, man these youngsters sure are crazy!
This one is Boomer. Once Boons figured out that Moe would do all the work as far as jumping in and getting the ball, he would sit there and watch and then meet him at the rocks and steal the ball from him. Poor Moe!
All in all this was a great trip! Everyone had fun!!!
I love the pictures friend. Good job!
